The start of the apprenticeship was very exciting. Initially, we received a general safety briefing on how to behave in different areas. This was followed by a tour of the entire company, providing a good insight into the company's work processes and what we produce. After the introductory week in Dülken, we had two week-long excursions. One was to our larger site in Meinerzhagen to gain insight into other production processes, such as our wheel manufacturing or the production of various aircraft parts. The second week was spent at the Beverland Resort in Ostbevern, where we were brought together with the apprentices from Meinerzhagen. Through challenges and complex tasks, we developed a strong team spirit. The highlight for me that week was building and designing a soapbox car according to specific requirements.
