Product and process simulation with expertise and state-of-the-art technologies
Shape and properties determine how functional, safe and economical a component is. A well thought-out design is required to ensure that these basics, which can determine the market success of a product, are fulfilled in the best possible way. With our simulation techniques, we can reliably determine whether a manufacturing process is efficient and robust. In the course of this, we also implement reliable quality management and check whether manufactured components can withstand heavy loads and stresses and are ready for use.
Advanced engineering and simulation: pioneering technologies
Simulation technology is more than just a tool – it is an integral part of our comprehensive research and development department. As a technology leader, we use advanced digital technologies and develop new methods such as first-principles and AI simulation modelling to understand and optimize components and processes.
Our aim is to identify and minimize weak points, optimize properties and increase efficiency at the same time. Each product is virtually simulated before production to ensure excellent quality.

Top-class tools for global standards
Our state-of-the-art tools go far beyond standards. Thanks to an effective combination of different simulation options and numerical models - from component design to process simulation and property prediction – we at OTTO FUCHS set global standards. Through a variety of methods, the use of digital twins and the optimization of products and processes, we work in a customer-centric manner. As a technology partner, we support our clients in achieving their goals.

for students and applicants Research and theses at OTTO FUCHS
Our students' Bachelor's and Master's theses are regularly nominated for their quality and innovation. Associations such as the Industrieverband Massivumformung have already honored them.
There is a reason for this: because we offer our students the best conditions. They receive practical training and can take on real projects. The results are often significant contributions to science and industry - with a potential impact on the general aviation or automotive industry. Doctoral theses will also be possible with us in the future.
