69 aluminum, 8 magnesium, 60 copper, 16 titanium and 4 nickel alloys are maintained throughout the OTTO FUCHS Group. This means that we can offer a material solution for almost every conceivable application. Our seven state-of-the-art casting plants have a capacity of around 150,000 tons per year. They ensure a closed material cycle and enable optimized production – from both an economic and ecological perspective.

Thanks to the right material composition and the manufacturing and processing process, high-performance materials are created for demanding applications. Our materials meet far more than just the basic mechanical requirements of current material standards. Our material solutions are tailor-made for the special requirements of further processing as well as for use in tribological systems or corrosive media. The result: optimum solutions for the automotive industry, mechanical and plant engineering, electrical engineering and the construction and sanitary industry.
In-house research and development – a must
We combine traditional processes and materials with state-of-the-art production techniques and continuously develop both further. Our alloys are constantly optimized for specific products and processes. Throughout the entire product cycle, we have a wide range of methods at our disposal for comprehensive material and component characterization: special tests on the microstructure and surface structure of the materials, precise measurements of the components, the determination of mechanical or physical properties, tribological tests and experimental simulation processes in 2D and 3D drive optimization forward day by day.
This increases the quality of our products and saves work steps, time, costs and effort. Because we know: We can always be more precise, safer and better. That's why our research and development department plays a key role in our company.

This is not a problem either: if there is no suitable solution, we will develop one. With our experience and our systems, we can optimize alloys for specific products and processes.
